trailer trash - A Single Man

I mentioned this movie last fall right before it went into production and can't wait for it's release. Not only has the film gotten rave reviews Colin Firth won the Best Actor prize at The Venice Film Festival last month. The film, based on a Christopher Isherwood's novel, also stars the beautiful Julianne Moore, Big Love's Ginnifer Goodwin, Nicholas Hoult (from Skins and About A Boy) and the gorgeous Matthew Goode. This movie is supposedly Oscar bait, but that's 1 of the many, many reasons why I want to see it.

plate hate

This lovely little pic was sent to me by the wonderful & brilliant Olivia Wolfe & the best contribution plate hate's seen a while. The car is pretty fab, but I'm just not a fan of 99% of vanity plates.

It turns out they're bring their party to Miami this weekend, October 2-4th with free concerts by BOB, J.COLE, The Clipse and culminating with N.E.R.D at Awarehouse in Wynwood. London Fashion Week Favorites - Marios Schwab

Marios Schwab is also the new head designer at Halston who's 1st line won't debut til Fall 2010, but considering how fantastic their S/S '10 collection was, I hope he's able to fuse his ability with Halston's ethereally glamorous aesthetic.

London Fashion Week Favorites - House of Holland

While I find Henry Holland delightfully entertaining on Twitter & when interviewing other designers, this collection was just plain ridiculous (and not in a cool way.) The collection seemed to be straight out of the early 90's, but just see for yourself.
