It's Art Basel bitches!

Art Basel is THE biggest Art event in the United States and the sister event to massive Art Fair that happens each summer in Switzerland. Not only is Art Basel an art bonanza it attracts possibly some of the most interesting, eccentric and diverse group of people you could ever imagine meeting (in Miami at least), who have an appreciation of art. While the first weekend in December is all about the art, for some it's all about the parties, that rival the electronic events that surround Winter Music Conference. The 2nd hottest hotel in town The Gansevoort South (the first being the newly reopened Fonatinebleu) is hosting a number of parties at their elecro-lounge/club Louis. Wednesday night, is the Rolling Stone Party for Japanese artist/genius Takashi Murakami. While Thursday night's party is for the Antichrist Superstar himself, Marily Manson, in celebration of his art exhibition Trismegistus . I'm definitely going to one, maybe both, so I'll let you know how it goes, but GO SEE SOME ART THIS WEEKEND IF YOU'RE IN MIAMI! It is literally all around you and you should take advantage of it.
