The Informant Review
I caught The Informant in the beginning of October and am still trying to comprehend the myriad of events and plot twists that occur in this delightfully entertaining film. As always Steven Soderbergh and Matt Damon are brilliant, and the mastery of each craft is so subtly executed, which is why I'm still appreciating and trying to unravel this dramatic-dark comedy, loosely based on the true story of a man who becomes an informant for the FBI will help him move up in the company. It's a solid film that will probably get some love come awards season, so don't be surprised when you see Matt Damon or Soderbergh all over the red carpets.
My rating: 8.8/10
