trailer trash - An Education

After basking in the beauty of France throughout Chéri and figuring out plans to head across the pond in a couple of weeks, the trailer for An Education makes me giddy. This film was a fan favorite at Sudance and I'm hoping it's as good as it looks.

Could January Jones be more gorgeous?

For those of you who don't know who January Jones is, she stars as Betty Draper, the ultimate Hithcock Blonde and woman on the verge, as well as Don Draper's wife on The Best Show on TV, "Mad Men." The woman is a knockout with skin as smooth and pure as milk, not to mention she's also incredibly talented. Vanity Fair has an intriguing feature on her and accompanying photos shot by Patrick Demarchelier in the February issue, that features, Goddess Divine, Cate Blanchett on the cover.

Legendary actress, singer and dancer Earth Kitt died yesterday, and surely will be pissed. This inconoclast was born in a cotton field and eventually made it to Hollywood where she played CatWoman on the 1960's Television version of Batman. The woman will surely be missed but thankfully her art lives on.

If you are unaware of who this lovely creature is, enligthen yourself immediately! Dita Von Teese is a pinup star, model actress and burlesque dancer, and can basically be compared to the modern day Bettie Page. Dita has an exquisite fashion sense, which I have featured below.

Dita Von Teese is committed to total glamour at all times and I fully respect her for it. Check out her Wonderbra commercial which is preposterous yet splendid.

A Sunday Wedding

So I went to a wedding in New York a few weeks back and my mom finally remembered that she took a handful of pictures at the reception. They're basically only of my brother, his girlfriend and me but I still wanted to share because I thought they were pretty darn cute, sadly there isn't a great picture of the vintage lace, strapless dress I wore (I was going for an homage to late 50's early 60's glamour a la Betty Draper), but will make sure to get one the the next time I wear it.

I can't stop making this face and wish I could but for some reason I always think it's hilarious in mind...clearly it's just awkward/ugly

I'm not exactly sure of how you're supposed to keep track of the days of the year with these half naked women staring back at you, but I had to share considering how gorgeous and silly this is.
