The Championships, Wimbledon, aka the smarmiest/best tennis tournament in the world started monday. the picture above is from today's 2nd round match where the #3 seed - though he's the #1 seed in my heart- Novak Djokovic was ousted in straight sets by #75 (!) Marat Safin. safin was formerly the world #1, won the Australian Open in 2005 and the U.S Open in 2000. congrats to Marat I hope he pulls an upset if/when he meets Federer in the semifinals. i'm hoping this year's Wimbeldon is as exciting when Goran Ivanisevic beat Patrick Rafter to win the Mens' Singles Title in 2001 after he entered the tourney as a wildcard.
