New York Fashion Week Favorites - Monique Lhuillier

Fall/Winter 09 Fashion Week is finally here and while the past few weeks have been uncharacteristically cold, they're certainly not as bleak as everywhere else in the country. So I thought I'd kick off my Fashion Week posts with something pretty, elegant and something you may just see on the red carpet for The Academy Awards next weekend. Ladies and Germs, a few pieces from Monique Lhullier's Fall/Winter 2009 Collection.

What in your what?

Even more insanity from Mr. Samberg

another completely gratuitous Clive Owen Post

The International opens this weekend, and I'm still undecided on whether or not I'm going to see it, though the director, Tom Tykwer, is a flippin' genius. With that happening he's been doing all the media rounds and is on the cover of Esquire this month, here's the article if you're interested.

"I want to be rich and I want lots of money, I don’t care about clever I don’t care about funny..."

I caved and bought the new Lily Allen album "It's Not Me, It's You" and it's a great combo of breezy pseudo dance music and Brit pop. This post was originally titled "I don’t know what’s right and what’s real anymore, I don’t know how I’m meant to feel anymore..." which is the chorus for "The Fear" the 1st single of the album, but the opening lines of the song were just too damn ridiculous to not put up. Check out the song (and ok vid) below.

"She's always buzzing just like neon, neon..."

Agyness is THE hottest model in fashion right now (& an obsession of mine for over a year) and this shoot proves why. Shot by the brilliant and renowned Patrick Demarchelier, Agy rocks Spring's neon trends like nobodies business. I can't wait to reincoperate these colors and wear looks inspired by my favorite Spring trend. By the by if you click on each individual photo you can get a closer look and read the credits of each fantastic look. & I apologize for quoting John Mayer in the title but the line just worked.

trailer trash - Observe & Report

While I didn't see Paul Blart:Mall Cop I must admit I really wanted to. When I heard Seth Rogen would also be playing a mall cop in a movie this spring I was a bit nervous...after watching this trailer I'm more nervous for the people who think this movie is going to be anything like that family friendly trip to funland, because "Observe and Report" is going to be explosive.
