listen to Adele now!
Adele's most accesible song is probably "Cold Shoulder"
...while "Chasing Pavements" is also an incredible song, with an equally incredible video which you can see here, or listen to her do it live below
"Hometown Glory" is probably her most popular song since it's been on "Grey's Anatomy," and is incredibly beautiful
though my favorite song she does is "Tired." sadly there's no real video, but you can hear the song and enjoy the lovely video montage someone made for this fantastic song.

I'm begging you for MERCY, why won't you release me?
...and another thats a bit more somber "Warwick Avenue"
...and "Rain On Your Parade" which is clearly has the same arrangement as "Mercy," but with fewer instruments, which means it'll probably be stuck in my head til Hannukah

kanye's new album
entitled "808s and Heartbreak"comes out on November 25th and here's the video for "love lockdown" he premiered on Ellen last week. i have no friggin clue what's going on in this thing, i just really like the song, which is why i'm sticking it out until i hear "808" to full decide whether or not i'm into a 'more soulful'/singing version of Mr. West. it feels like only yesterday he was trying to thump 2 Bits (that's 50 Cent for those of you not into old-timey hip hop talk) for the best record sales of the day, though that was actually almost 15 months ago.
i am pretty intrigued since "808" is technically a break-up album, and who can't relate to that. kanye had some crazy listening party for it the other night and said the album was about "emotional nakedness" and "the freedom to do what you want to do." whatever the F that means, i'm excited and intrigued and hope it's as enthralling as my current favorite breakup album (which is also one of my favorite albums of all time) Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black." We shall see.

amy winehouse is as good as dead, so i'd like to wish her a happy birthday
Happy Birthday Amy! today is Amy Winehouse's birthday, who happens to be one of my favorite female recording artists of all time. she is incredibly talented but clearly has a whole lot of problems. Rolling Stone magazine recently published an article that basically affirms that she's as good as dead if she keeps, drinking, doing drugs and whatever crazy behavior she's gotten herself involved in over the course of the past year and a half. so i thought i should post about her before it's too late (though it may already be. ) so i've chosen to showcase some of her best tracks, instead of all the crazy videos of her out there. so please enjoy, while you still can.
