I always enjoy a good documentary, but love great ones, especially those fashion related...

Exclusive Clip: Zooey Deschanel Not Interested in Being Your Girlfriend, in "500 Days of Summer"

I've mentioned 500 Days of Summer on more than 1 occassion in the past and am about to again, now that there's an exclusive clip from the movie available at New York Magazine online.

"In theaters July 17 is 500 Days of Summer, a love story (sort of) starring
Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a greeting-card copywriter retracing the steps of his
failed relationship with Summer, played by Zooey Deschanel. Fox Searchlight has
given us this exclusive clip, in which Deschanel explains that she's not
interested in having a boyfriend, to the disappointment of Gordon-Levitt and the
befuddlement of Geoffrey Arend (real-life fiancé of Mad Men's Christina

So here's the first pic from Iron Man 2. There's plenty more filler at the site,and there aren't too many details out about the film, except that Mickey Rourke is 1 of the villains (Sam Rockwell is the other. ) Mickey was stellar in Sin City and clearly Oscar Caliber in The Wrestler, so I can't wait to see him and RDJ on screen together, it's going to be electric! trailer trash "The Watchmen" (movies I'm excited about and hope they don't suck...)

So this post is (hopefully) the first of many in a series i have entitled "movies i'm excited about and hope they don't suck." time and time again we have all sat down to watch something hoping it would be entertaining, interesting but more than anything, good. that's how i felt about "Wanted," granted it wasn't terribly but it wasn't amazing.

"The Watchmen" hugely popular comic book series is coming to the big screen! though i'm only mildy familiar with the source material, i'm well aware of how important and revolutionary the comic was. this movie is going to be so big (for the nerd & special effects community) that massive amounts of press coverage is being shared now and the movie doens't come out until March 2009. my interest in the film arose becasuse of my utter and complete infatuation with Matthew Goode - who also happens to be in another movie i'm really excited to see this summer, "The Brideshead Revisted" that's based on an incredible book.

anyway "The Watchmen" has an incredibly talented (and attractive) cast plus it's directed by Zack Snyder who also did "300." MTV has an interview and trailer for the movie which can be seen here, while Entertainment Weekly has an exclusive first look as well, and you can either see the 1st trailer before "The Dark Knight" which opens today or you can check it out right here. i'm pretty sure (well i'm hoping at least) this movie may be the coolest thing since sliced bread, but i guess i'll found out for certain in march.
