so last fall i posted about my love of all fashion but the inability to truly execute it sartorially in tropical conditions and i'm about to again since i just bought the lovely boots posted above. a few days ago i was brainstorming outfit ideas (yes sometimes i actually plan out what i'm going to wear well before i ever will) and i concluded that i needed to add a pair of universal (wearable in any season that can be dressed up or down) brown boots to my wardrobe, and lo and behold i found them in less than a week. i realize now i think i was inspired by the Miu Miu boots Madonna wore in the May 08 Elle (pictured below) and in her "Give It To Me" video. i'm headed to New York in a few weeks for a wedding so hopefully they'll get put to some use and i won't look as ridiculous wearing them there, as i will in the 305.
