The effects of Tropical Storm Faye

So this crappy picture of a tree that got knocked down by Faye's gusts was my attempt at "nature photography." Its pretty clear I should stick to candids while shooting with my phone in a moving vehicle.

the first hurricane of the season...

ok well technically it's the 2nd since clearly it's name is Birtha. so we're not in any trouble and this storm stands no chance of hitting us, but i had to mention it . but there is nothing on the radar apparently for the next 6 days no wonder the homeless live outside down here.

I heart Miami

Even the homeless have it made in this town. I saw this bum outside my office today when I was leaving for lunch. When I returned an hour later he was still there and I had to take a photo.

fall fashion and the lack there of in mia

it's almost winter and that means it's time to break out coats, hats, gloves...oh wait fall or winter doesn't exist in miami, which means neither does fall fashion because it's simply way too hot. sadly none of us will be able to wear clothing as exquisitely executed as the outfits below, but we can always dream.
