Hot Chip + Peter Gabriel = Vampire Weekend cover

so it turns out that Hot Chip (one of the greatest bands ever!) and Peter Gabriel (i prefer Phil Collins to be perfectly honest) may be teaming up to cover a Vampire Weekend's "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa." for all the details along with Hot Chip tour dates click here.

while on the subject of Vampire Weekend, i've posted their video for "Oxford Comma" below. it's clearly inspired by Wes Anderson's films, and is also reminiscent of Ang Lee/Gus Van Sant films in a sprawling beatuy/"kinda gay" vibe sorta way...but maybe that's just me.

and here is Hot Chip's "Ready for the Floor," which was inspired by God knows what. though i'm totally digging "The Joker/Two-Face" homage(?) that's going on. though this is clearly one nutty/fun video.
