Terrible tuesdays: the economy sucks so hard people are buying gold bricks...

Which according to Suze Orman is not a good idea. As is taking cash and sticking it under your mattress or putting it in a shoebox, because fire and/or robbery are 2 reasons to reaffirm what a not good idea it is.

The Lehman Brothers bankruptcy and the Merril Lynch buyout were the last 2 things I expected to wake up to yesterday. On top of that hearing that Sweat Records was robbed over the weekend as well, & Hurricane Ike devastating Galveston, makes me wonder what's happening in our country and in our community. I know bad things are par for the course in the world we live in today, but I want to know where's the good? There are good people in this world, thats undeniable, but when are we collectively going to make a change for the better. I didn't expect this to turn into a political rant or anything, but yesterday was the worst day on Wall Street in 7 years, and things don't seem to be getting better in any other aspect for anyone in this country. Its time for a change, its time for Barack.
